In all that you do, do it for the glory of God
Weekly Bible Study #3
This week’s passage is a bit more brief, but comes from 1 Corinthians 10:31-33. The 1st book of Corinthians was written by Paul to the church in Corinth, so in this passage he is address this church. This is from the New Living Translation.
1 Corinthians 10:31-33
31 So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 32 Don’t give offense to Jews or Gentiles or the church of God. 33 I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.
We should strive to bring glory to God in everything that we do, whether that be writing music, your profession, or even playing video games. There is always a way for you to serve him, the best place to start is with whatever you are good at.
What are you good at and how can it benefit the Kingdom of God?
