In Memorial: Dale Huffman

00

This morning one of our own went home to be with the Lord. Dale Huffman was a pioneer in Christian extreme metal radio, and although not all of us here had the pleasure of knowing him his life and ministry through Metal Pulse Radio affected many. He was a huge supporter of indie Christian metal and helped countless bands spread their message to the world.

Dale’s battle with cancer may have come to an end but we know he is now in Heaven , fully restored in health. Dale’s legacy will live on not only through his family, but also through everyone who he touched in his life. We never truly know the magnitude of the changes our lives put into motion, as many lives as Dale may have directly impacted there is likely an equal or greater amount of lives that have been indirectly impacted by the actions of others he influenced. Dale influenced many people from bands to DJs and beyond.

Whether you knew Dale or not, consider helping out his family. A GoFundMe campaign has been started by one of his daughters. If you need to, please pray and consider giving to offer support to the family of a man who gave his heart and soul to Christian metal. You can find the campaign by clicking the link below or clicking on Dale’s picture.

Our loss, heaven's gain. Dale was a good friend. I had the pleasure of knowing Dale for years and although we never personally met, I felt I knew him as if we hung out together a lot. We talked many times on the phone. Dale was a great husband, dad, friend, and he made a huge impact in the Christian metal scene. You will be missed brother.

  2. Dale was a great guy. Like me, an example of being a long-time fan who got a chance to share his passion with the world. His impact will continue to be felt in the Christian metal world for a long time to come, as many of the bands he championed continue to gain followers and fans. May his family and friends be comforted by the Lord during the months and years to follow. We'll always miss him, but we are richer for his presence in our lives.
